The fourth Workshop of the AIAS Topical Group XTREMA focuses on the integration of experimental investigations and numerical simulations in high strain-rate events. The workshop will address key aspects of mechanical characterization, constitutive modeling, and finite element simulation of materials under impulsive loading conditions, such as impact.

Researchers and experts working on experiments, modeling, and simulation of material behavior under extreme dynamic conditions are invited to participate and contribute to an open scientific discussion on current challenges and perspectives in the field.

Venue & Accommodation

The workshop will be held in the Polaris conference room of the Links Foundation, located within the Cittadella Politecnica. The closest access is from Corso Castelfidardo 30/A. Torino Porta Susa railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

A limited number of rooms are available at the Hotel Best Quality Politecnico at a special rate of €90 per night, including breakfast. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from the workshop venue.
